Fat-Free Games Name and Logo Change

Hi everyone!

As some of you know, Fat-Free Games will be changing their name to Juju Play.

Tom (Vexxed) would like everyone to review the logos that have been submitted for approval.

Please click on the link below:

Tom would love to hear what folks think about the various logos, and he would appreciate it if you could post your comments here on the blog instead of the 99designs website.

Also, please note that it would be extremely helpful to refer to each design's respective number when giving your feedback.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

As always,

My first choice is #47. It is fun and inviting. My second is #66. It has the best color that then other ones of the same design and the Cyclops smiley faces (lol) are inviting. Just my thoughts.

Brookie gave me a number that she liked, but I think it was eliminated already. If not, I have the number wrong and she likes 51. (I know it was in the 50s).

As for me, I like 51 the best, but all of the ones in that design would seem to come awfully close to the Windows design, which would give me pause that you're just going to have to change it again. In that case, I like 32 and 65. Nonlinear is definitely the way to go.

I like #46 or #47. Cute with the smiley faces and we sure use a lot of those and the chat clouds in the background.

My first choice would be #74, I'm partial to the typestyle in that logo, playful but not too juvenile.

My second would be #66 by the same designer, typestyle is a little more serious and restrained--which might hold greater appeal to the target demographic.

However, as much as I am drawn to this particular design, I must point out that I agree with TC re: the similarity to the Windows logo.

This particular likeness would become even more apparent when the logo is reduced in point size, as much of the subtle details in this design would be lost or missed in reduction.

Furthermore, although I really feel this overall design has potential, the logo itself needs to be stylized further in order to translate well as a branding element.

#46 jumps out, but before using "juju" and candy colors in a logo they should probably make sure they won't get sued by the company that makes jujubees.

;-)

I'd also appreciate it if they could work on the whole error code 2 thing, which seemed to become a huge problem with the latest version. I'm also noticing that the game is KILLING my battery life on a 1st gen phone. I suspect that when the game is crashing out, it's making the phone think it's still online, which means that the phone's sitting there using the radio and draining the battery. Boo.
