3G, Not G3

Hi all,

I'm sure we're all grateful to ThatAdGirl for volunteering to post info on the new iPhone in an attempt to dispel the misinformation floating around the chat. However, a little bit of info in the post has created even more confusion, so I'm posting this to clarify for everyone:

The name of the network and the new iPhone is 3G, not G3.

Thanks to the sharp eyes in the chat for pointing this out!

Yours,

Jazz <3

Actually ... 3G stands for the Third Generation network that AT&T is using. For the uber geek - 3G is HSDPA. EDGE is 2.5G and GSM is 2G.

Thank you, vexxed, for clarifying this detail for everyone! I especially appreciate your verifying for me that I was not completely in the wrong on this! ;-)
